The holidays are right around the corner, so that means it is time to make some cookies! My all time favorite cookie is a simple Coconut Macaroon, so I figured why not take this simple recipe and dress it up for the holidays? Coconut Macaroon Christmas Tree Cookies The recipe is almost identical to my Almond Joy Cookies, which just some minor changes. You could even drizzle on some chocolate as decoration instead of sprinkles….mmmmm, sprinkles. Coconut Macaroon Christmas Tree Cookies
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ Cup Sweetened Coconut Flakes
  • ½ Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Green Food Coloring optional
  • Sprinkles to decorate

  • 1 ½ Cup Sweetened Coconut Flakes
  • ½ Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Green Food Coloring optional
  • Sprinkles to decorate
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine coconut flakes and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Roll into 1 inch balls and form into a cone shape.
  4. Decorate with sprinkles and candy
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown flakes appear.
  6. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 15 minutes.
