Busy Days, Easy Meals
It seems as the deeper we get into summer, the busier I get. I am in my final class before I graduate from college, and this is by far been the hardest class I have had. Between school work, the kiddos being home, work and getting ready for a complete bathroom remodel, like is busy….to say the least. I hate having to turn on our oven in the summer because it is just so hot here in the south, so finding quick and easy meal ideas are always a priority when I am shopping.
When I was at my local Walmart I found these new meals by LEAN CUISINE®! They have a ton of new meals that offer a variety of meals that Gluten Free like the Marketplace Comfort Chicken in Sweet BBQ sauce…. BBQ chicken without having to grill outside in the summer heat is always a winner in my book! Be sure to be on the look for the special offer June 14-28 in the Superfridge.
Not to mention my hubbies new favorite go-to to take for lunch, the Marketplace Sweet & Spicy Korean Style Beef is super yummy! Plus, it it is protein packed, so it helps to keep him full after his morning PT. My husband spent a year in South Korea and has always bugged me about learning how to make Korea style meals, well now I don’t have to because…. Nobody got time for that!
Keeping the kiddos pleased during lunch and dinner is always a task, so I also picked up the Marketplace Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese. They are one of the new organic varieties, so I know what I am feeding the kids! I read the label, and actually knew everything that was listed, like organic skim milk and Vermont Cheddar Cheese.
So, I am happy, the kids are happy and hubby is happy because on those nights where no one wants to cook because we are all tired and it is to hot to move we have a go-to meal. Everyone can pick out there own meal and there is no need to order take out!
What do you do when it is to hot to move?
