DIY Headbands with Free Pattern!
Even though Summer is not here yet, it has been hot here in the South. I have been trying to grow my hair out, but I am a ponytail junky because I hate having my hair in my face. To stop me from putting my hair up, I decided that I needed some headbands for when I am working. So, I of course, decided to make my own DIY Headbands!
I have a ton of Fat Quarters, probably because I hoard them. So, I dug through my stash and found some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Fabric, as well as some Wonder Woman fabric to use. You can use any fabric you would like, just as long as it is a light weight fabric.
These DIY Headbands only took about 10 minutes to make, and that is with very little sewing experience. So, they would make great gifts for the Holidays, or even to sell.
For this project I created a simple free sewing pattern for you to use. You can download it below!
To see exactly how I made them, check out the quick video below!
Once you have your fabric cut out, you can measure your head to see how much elastic you will need. You want it tight, since the elastic will stretch over time.
I just love how these DIY Headbands turned out! I can not wait to make more of them!
