DIY Water Swirl Mugs!
Yikes! The weather here has had a mind of its own. Growing up in the north, snow really did not stop anything, but here in the south, if snow is even mentioned in the forecast, everything shuts down. I do not really mind, but the kids have gone to school 2 days in the past two weeks. So, needless to say, we all have a bit of cabin fever. In order to keep them busy, and have a little fun, we made these fun DIY Water Swirl Mugs.
We picked up some white mugs a few weeks ago at the store for just $.88 each, white is classic, but they were just screaming for something. This project takes just a few minutes, and only takes a few items. The heart mug pictured about, all I did was add some stickers to the mug before dipping it.
I think they turned out simple, but elegant, and the kiddos had fun playing with different colors. These can be coated with a clear sealant to make them dishwasher safe, but if you choose not to do this, then hand washing is your best bet to keep them looking great!
