Spider Chip Cookies!

Spider Chip Cookies!

Can you believe that Halloween is right around the corner? I love Halloween, and everything about it, and will actually be sad once it is over! The creepy food and fun costumes are things I look forward to all year long. Plus, it is just another reminder that Christmas is looming… I love Christmas, don’t get me wrong, but the crowded stores and all of the glitter are things I am just not looking forward to. Spider Chip Cookies!   This year, create a quick and easy creepy treat for your friends and family with these simple spider chip cookies. Your guests will be sure to do a double take when reaching for these delectable treats.  You have two options for these cookies, you can make them from scratch (there is a recipe down below), or you can simply purchase some frozen cookie dough if you are on a time crunch.

What is your favorite thing about Halloween? The costumes? The food? I can not decide on my favorite because I love everything about it!

 DIY Halloween Candy Apples!

DIY Halloween Candy Apples! Black Widows and Pumpkins!

One of my favorite things about Fall is all of the yummy apples that appear on my trees outside that are ripe for the picking. What better than to make some DIY Halloween Candy Apples with them! With a basic candy apple recipe and some food coloring, there are a ton of ways to decorate them! The kiddos decided that they wanted pumpkins and black widows, so that is what we did! If you are doing this project with the kiddos though, let them do the decorating after the coating has hardened, not the dipping as the sugar coating is extremely HOT! DIY Halloween Candy Apples! Black Widows and Pumpkins! As always, if you decide to try out any of our Halloween How – To’s be sure to post and tag us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter! We love seeing your projects! If you are not already, be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel! We do things there that are not always posted on the blog! DIY Halloween Candy Apples!
