I grew up in Michigan, and there are just things I grew up with that I can not find here in the South. My childhood memories include things like Faygo, Vernors, and Superman Ice Cream. While I have spotted Faygo and Vernors here in the south, Superman Ice Cream has yet to make an appearance. I have been craving this ice cream since the weather has warmed up, so I decided I was going to figure out my own Superman Ice Cream Recipe! The base of this ice cream is the same exact as my Galaxy Ice Cream Recipe, but just had a few add ons. Classic Superman Ice Cream has three flavors: Lemon, Red Pop (or Soda), and Blue Moon Ice Cream. Well, Blue Moon ice cream is also something that I can not find in the south, so I had to wing it. …
Maybe it is the warm weather, but I have been pretty obsessed with anything and everything that involves strawberry lemonade. A few weeks ago I shared a super yummy Strawberry Lemonade Mousse, and today I am showing you this super easy Strawberry Lemonade Muddy Buddies recipe! …
Halloween is just a few days away, and I know the last thing on most peoples mind is more candy, but I could not help it. I LOVE Butterfingers, and I HATE Candy Corn. But that is because I have been eating Candy Corn wrong my whole life, and chances are, so have you! Candy Corn was not meant to be eaten as a stand alone candy, it was meant to be transformed into crispity, crunchity Homemade Butterfinger Bars!
Who knew that you could turn that plastic tasting candy into something amazing! And these Homemade Butterfinger Bars are just that…. AMAZING! You can not even tell that there is candy corn in them!
I opted to not make individual candy bars, but you can totally cut them up and dip them individually if you want. I just found this way a little less messy and quicker.

A few weeks ago I shared some fun, free, printable Unicorn stickers. I have been on a Unicorn kick lately, and I just do not know why. There is just something about Unicorns that make me happy. And what is better than eating a fun, colorful treat? These DIY Edible Unicorn Horns are not only super fun to make, they taste pretty awesome too!
I opted to use a rainbow of colors for my Edible Unicorn Horns. But you can do as many, or as few, as you would like. The combination of fun colors and the sweetness make these the perfect treat for any Unicorn, or Rainbow themed party!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know we are already in full Summer mode here. The temperatures have already hit 100 degrees so keeping cool is high on my priority list. With the kids almost done with school, I decided it was time to come up with some kid friendly treats to keep them cool while they are outside playing. This JELL-O Slushy is just the thing! It stay frozen a lot longer than a traditional Slushy and the flavor combos are endless. Today I made a Strawberry Lemonade JELL-O Slushy and a Blue Raspberry Slushy! Both were amazing, and when I combined the two flavors I had an instant hit! The red and blue JELL-O Slushy will be perfect for the upcoming 4th of July Holiday, super fun and festive! But, as I said, any flavor combos will work. I may have to make a Watermelon flavor soon!
For the Strawberry Lemonade JELL-O Slushy, I used Strawberry Lemonade with gave it just the right amount of tart to counteract the sweetness of the JELL-O. The Blue Raspberry I used a Lemon-Lime Soda. As long as the flavors mix well, the combos are really endless!
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this yummy recipe! Also, which other flavor combinations should we try next?

My family loves Mexican food and with Cinco De Mayo right around the corner I figured it was time to try my hand at recreating one of my favorite dip recipes. This easy Queso Blanco Dip can be done on the stove top, or in a slow cooker which is great for those set it and forget it kind of days. We have a great Mexican restaurant in our area, and every time we go, Queso Blanco is a must have at our table. To the point where the waiters no longer ask us, they just bring it to the table. But, with our families schedules being so busy lately, we have not had many opportunities to visit our favorite restaurant. So, I decided that it was time to make my own version of this creamy, cheesy dip!
All you need is a few basic ingredients, and you will be well on your way to cheesy, dipping gold!
I like to throw everything together and put it in the slow cooker, but on those nights where I am craving it, I just throw it into a sauce pot and it is ready in 5 minutes!
