DIY Ice Queen Mask!

DIY Ice Queen Mask!

DIY Ice Queen Mask!

Frozen seems to be the big thing for Halloween this year. Lets see a raise of hands if you know someone going as a character from the movie. Although I love the Movie Frozen, I was more inspired by the show Once Upon A Time for this mask. I love anything sparkly and blue, and this mask was so easy, you probably have everything you need to make it on hand to make this DIY Ice Queen Mask.

The girl, who is anti girly, could not wait to make her own mask, and the great thing about these is that you can totally customize them to match your costume! Change the shape, color and decorations and make a cat mask or even a TMNT mask!

Easy Burn Makeup Tutorial for Halloween

Struggling on what to be this Halloween? I have always loved the thought of doing something that involved special effects, but was always scared to try. The thought of fake blood and latex kind of scared me. But you know what? It is actually SUPER easy to do! This look took me around 10 minutes from start to finish and was done using easy to find Halloween makeup at my local Drug store! All you need is some black and red face paint, fake blood, latex and a few cotton balls…. Yes, cotton balls. It gives the appearance of burnt flesh and muscle fibers! Want to see how I did it? Check out the short video below!

 DIY Halloween Candy Apples!

DIY Halloween Candy Apples! Black Widows and Pumpkins!

One of my favorite things about Fall is all of the yummy apples that appear on my trees outside that are ripe for the picking. What better than to make some DIY Halloween Candy Apples with them! With a basic candy apple recipe and some food coloring, there are a ton of ways to decorate them! The kiddos decided that they wanted pumpkins and black widows, so that is what we did! If you are doing this project with the kiddos though, let them do the decorating after the coating has hardened, not the dipping as the sugar coating is extremely HOT! DIY Halloween Candy Apples!
